Sly As A Madman

Wednesday Advertising Day.

Last week I showed some of Gill Fox's Hank Ketcham inspired cartoon Wilbert. So here are some illustration and advertising jobs he did, along with a sample of his version of Sides Glances, which he took over in 1961 from George Clarke, who was spotlighted here yesterday. The Black Brothers ad was a series that was first done by Dik Browne (with or without the assistance of Fox, then by Fox on his own and finally by Bill Williams.
